Where does FuelWise get its petrol price data?
FuelWise uses official government price feeds: NSW FuelCheck (covering NSW, the ACT and Tasmania), Service Victoria's Fair Fuel API, WA FuelWatch, Fuel Prices QLD, SA Fuel Pricing and MyFuel NT. Stations report price changes to these schemes, so the prices in the app are the same ones the regulators publish.
Is FuelWise free?
Yes. FuelWise is free on iPhone and Android with all features included: live prices, the price-cycle forecast, discount stacking and CarPlay. An optional paid upgrade removes ads.
How does FuelWise calculate my discounted fuel price?
Toggle on the discount cards you hold, such as Everyday Rewards, Flybuys, state auto clubs, Telstra Plus, Uber Pro and Ampol Energy, or add your own custom discount. FuelWise applies the best officially documented discount or stack for each station's brand (up to 14c/L) and shows the real after-discount price in the list, on the map and in CarPlay.
Which fuel types does FuelWise track?
Unleaded 91, E10, Premium 95, Premium 98, Diesel, Premium Diesel, LPG and E85, wherever the state feed reports them. You pick a default fuel type and every price shown is for that fuel.
